    Auction descriptions were edited from  the catalog. I tried to keep to informative information and remove the fluff.

 

    To bring these results to you I watched several auctions live. The beauty of the internet.

 

    Results are hammer bids. I did not calculate the buyer’s premium since there are often  complicated multi-tier commissions added. In the interest of not mis-leading the reader I stayed with hammer bids.

        Kissimmee Auction - Mecum Jan. 7-16, 2021

    275 GTS, S/N 7967 (1965). Red with black. Estimate $1.35 million to $1.45 million. Previously owned by a former Skip Barber Midwest-series physician from 1983-2019. New convertible top and boot. Borrani wire wheels. Mechanically sorted by Terry Myr upon acquisition in 1983. Later cosmetically refreshed by Mike Kleeves, it has recently undergone an extensive photo-documented restoration completed in 2020. Stripped to bare metal and refinished Rosso Corsa. New black leather interior. Lot F164. Sold for $1.35 million.

 

 

    330 GTC, S/N 9955 (1967). Red with tan. Estimate $500,000 to $600,000. Constructed for the European marketplace and equipped with air conditioning and power windows. By the late 1990s it was in La Jolla, California, and was red with cream-colored leather interior. More recently, within the last 1,000 miles, the engine was rebuilt by John Hajduk’s Motorkraft Ltd. The paintwork is very nice with excellent fit and door shut. Glass and lenses are excellent. Chrome is very nice with minimal evidence of aging. Michelin XWXs on Borrani wire wheels. The interior was redone in 2013 in Cuoio leather with correct black vinyl in proper areas. Period-correct Becker AM/FM. With roll and owner’s manual. 45,798 miles. Lot F197. Not sold at $530,000.

 

 

    330 GTC, S/N 10457 (1967). Silver with red leather. Estimate $625,000 to $675,000. Previously owned by a former Skip Barber Midwest-series physician until 2019. Power windows and air conditioning. Borrani wire wheels. Original tool roll. Mechanically sorted by  Terry Myr upon acquisition in 1981. It was later cosmetically refreshed by Mike Kleeves, who stripped the body to bare metal and refinished it in the silver metallic paint. More recently, an extensive but sympathetic restoration was performed and completed in 2020. Lot F179. Sold for $660,000.

 

 

    365 GTB/4, S/N 15443 (1972). Red with tan leather. Estimate $650,000 to $700,000. Displaying concours-quality fit, finish and detailing. Air conditioning, ANSA exhaust and Michelin XWX radials on Borrani wire wheels. 42,175 miles. Manuals, warranty card, tool roll and service records. Lot F173. Not sold at $500,000.

 

 

    812 SUPERFAST, VIN ZFF83CLA3J0233129 (2018). Rosso Corsa with red interior. Estimate $350,000 to $400,000. Carbon fiber features including front bumper insert, bumper sides, rear diffuser, under-door covers and exterior sill kick panels. Interior carbon fiber driver zone includes central bridge and rear bench trim. Leather-clad central tunnel and seat backrest, plus color-keyed interior details and seat belts. Navigation. Window sticker confirming original data and factory options adding $124,075 to the basic MSRP. 403 miles. Lot S110.3. Sold for $368,500.

 

 

    308 GTS, S/N 23775 (1978). Yellow with tan interior. Estimate $115,000 to $130,000. Owned by Formula 1 expert and motorsports television personality Steve Matchett. Meticulous restoration by Automotive International of Charlotte, North Carolina, completed in 2019. Pioneer AM/FM cassette stereo. Books and tools. 46,939 miles. Lot S168. Sold for $220,000.

 

 

    348 TS, ZFFFA36A4K0082652 (1989). Red with tan leather. Estimate $50,000 to $60,000. Interior appointments include leather seats, black carpets and leather trim accents, full instrumentation. Five-spoke alloy wheels with prancing horse center caps, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Spare key. Lot S141. Sold for $66,000.

 

 

    F430 F1 BERLINETTA, VIN ZFFEW58AX70153916 (2007). Red with tan. Estimate $400,000 to $500,000. Purchased new by Donald J. Trump. Copy of original title which included the address of Trump Tower in New York City and President Donald Trump’s distinctive signature. Power Daytona-style seats, AM/FM stereo with CD, carbon fiber dash inserts, giallo instrumentation and Scuderia shields. 6,910 miles. Accompanied by window sticker, car cover and other accessories. Lot S203. Sold for $330,000.

 

 

    F430 SPIDER, ZFFEW59A080163130 (20018). Yellow with black interior. Power Daytona seats, extended leather, yellow deviated stitching, upper and lower carbon fiber trim, leather-wrapped roll bars. Yellow tach. Shields. Owner’s manuals with pouch and two master keys. 4,600 miles. Lot F37. Sold for $139,700.

 

 

    CALIFORNIA 2+2, VIN ZFF65LJA6B0176611 (2011). Grigio Silverstone with rosso interior. Estimate $90,000 to $110,000. Daytona seats, dual-zone climate system, navigation system, AM/FM sound system, heated exterior mirrors and remote keyless entry. Original 10-spoke alloy wheels with prancing horse center caps, Bridgestone Potenza tires and red calipers and carbon-ceramic brakes. Factory-fitted luggage set in red matching the interior. 8,500 miles. Lot S140. Sold for $121,000.

    TESTAROSSA, VIN ZFFSA17A0G0065811 (1986). Rosso Corsa with tan leather. Estimate $65,000 to $85,000. Known history from mid-1990s. Recorded to have resided in Southern California. Appearing to have remained in the Golden State ever since. Offered from the Los Angeles owner of several years. About 82,500 miles. Complete with owner’s manuals and tools. Lot 113. Sold for $67,200.

 

 

 

        Scottsdale Auctions - RM Sotheby’s - Jan. 22, 2021

 

    375 AMERICA, S/N 0327 AL (1954). Burgundy with silver-gray roof and beige interior. Estimate $2.4 million to $3.4 million. One of two 375 Americas finished by Vignale to a similar design. Finished in its original colors. Exhibited twice in 1954: first on the Chinetti Motors stand at the New York World Motor Sports Show at Madison Square Garden in January, then in March at the 1954 Geneva Motor Show. Later, delivered to its original owner, Robert C. Wilke of the Leader Card Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who traveled to Modena to collect his new toy. Exhibited at the XX Cavallino Classic in January 2011. Shortly thereafter it was refurbished and sold to the current owner. The car is overall still extremely attractive. There are only minor exterior flaws, including a minor dent in the nose and small paint scrapes. The interior does exhibit signs of use, including some tearing in the upholstery of the seats and wear on the carpeting. Importantly, the car is still equipped with its original engine, as confirmed by Ferrari Classiche in July 2018. Lot 162. Sold for $2.32 million.

 

 

    250 GT BOANO, S/N 0613 GT (1957). Dark red with beige leather. Estimate $1.2 million to $1.4 million. Alloy-bodied with a rich provenance and well-documented history, which includes its factory build records, in-period race victories, and Classiche certification. Build records indicate it was completed 22 January 1957. Dispatched to Luigi Chinetti shortly thereafter. It was sold to George Arents, one of the primary financiers of Chinetti’s dealership. Arents raced 0613 once at Marlboro Speedway in May 1957, before selling the car to Bob Grossman in early 1958. Grossman passed along 0613 to Len Potter after several months. That December, Potter and Grossman raced in the fifth annual Bahamas Speed Week. In 1960, it was exported to England. Restored in 1985 by DK Engineering. Sold to Japan in 1986. Exported to the United States in 2002. In 2004, the California owner commissioned Fossil Motorsports to execute a concours restoration. In 2007, sold to a collector in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After five years, sold to its next owner residing just outside Chicago, Illinois. A regular and successful fixture at both the California Mille and Colorado Grand. Sparingly shown and rarely driven since acquisition by the consignor in 2016. Under 66,700 miles indicated. Complete with maintenance invoices, tool kit and service manual. Lot 143. Sold for $1.23 million.

 

 

    512 BBi, VIN ZFFJA09B000047191 (1983). Rosso Corsa with nero leather. Estimate $250,000 to $300,000. Imported to the United States on 19 September 1983. Sold to its first owner of record, a Dr. Daniel Marciano of Rye, New York. Invoices indicate he sold 47191 in 1990 with approximately 10,500 kilometers back to Bob Sharp Motors. It was then purchased by the next owner, who exported it to Switzerland. In late 2002 it was moved to a Canadian collector, from whom the consignor acquired it in early 2004. A full cosmetic detailing was performed in preparation for sale. Showing just shy of 24,200 kilometers. Well-documented and carefully preserved, accompanied by its correct manuals, maintenance booklet, tool roll, and history file including service invoices dating back to 1987. Lot 117. Sold for $190,000.

 

 

    TESTAROSSA SPIDER CONVERSION, VIN ZFFSG17AXH0070983 (1987). Nero with cuoio interior. Estimate $125,000 to $175,000. Converted to a “Spider” configuration by Richard Straman. Reportedly one of just twelve Testarossa Spiders produced by Straman. The taut black soft top includes a transparent vinyl porthole in the rear panel, and the assembly can be securely stowed behind the seats beneath a matching cover via fasteners. Accompanied by partial service records. Lot 159. Sold for 150,000.

 

 

    550 MARANELLO, VIN ZFFZS49A1Y0119838 (2000). Rosso Corsa with tan leather. Estimate $150,000 to $200,000. Acquired by the current owner in August of 2002, titling it first in Oregon and then in California, as reflected by the accompanying Carfax. The owner notes that the car underwent a major service, including belts, in June 2014, and was fitted with Tubi exhaust; it has been driven fewer than 50 miles since. 4,406 miles. Complete with original books and tools, the factory car cover that has never been out of its bag, and the factory exhaust. Lot 119. Sold for $120,000.

 

 

    550 BARCHETTA, VIN ZFFZR52B000124070 (2001). #092/448. Argento Nürburgring with nero interior. Estimate $300,000 to $350,000. Sold new on 6 June, 2001, to Wiesbaden, Germany. In May 2002 it was imported to the U.S. With 1,256 miles, it was then sold to rock-and-roll performer, Rod Stewart. The current owner acquired the car in June 2008. Carbon fiber steering wheel, shift knob, seat backs, and door sills, as well as an Alcantara dashboard and Scuderia shields. Fewer than 8,620 miles. In August 2020 it received a full belt service and is accompanied by additional recent service records, including early records in Rod Stewart’s name and invoices for interior and exterior improvements in 2015. Complete with books and tools, as well as the pair of helmets supplied new with each Barchetta. Lot 147. Sold for $295,000.

 

 

    ENZO FERRARI, VIN ZFFCW56A830131319 (2003). Giallo Modena with cuoio leather. Estimate $2.25 million to $2.5 million. Completed in January 2003 and delivered new to Bob Rapp, via Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, North Carolina, on 28 March 2003. Believed to be the only Enzo delivered to the United States in these colors. Specified with competition harnesses. Two months after delivery, it was featured as the cover car for the Car and Driver July 2003 article. Rapp later sold to a Los Angeles-based collector with 5,300 miles on the odometer. Acquired by the consignor in late 2007. A Tubi exhaust is presently fitted, the original exhaust is retained. A 2017 invoice for oil change, coolant flush, and mechanical inspection completed showing just 11,400 miles. Accompanied with original manuals, warranty card, tool kit, document folio, service records, and set of fitted luggage. Lot 158. Sold for $2.2 million

 

 

 

        Scottsdale Auctions - Gooding - Jan. 22-23, 2021

 

    275 GTB, S/N 8863 (1966). Rosso Chiaro with red leather. Estimate $2 million to $2.4 million. Completed in August 1966. Retailed through Bill Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada. Sold new to a doctor in Portland, Oregon, and remained in his family’s possession for 54 years before being sold to the consignor earlier this year. Never restored, shown, or offered for public sale. 43,000 miles. Always kept in active service and maintained in running order, remains in fundamentally original, unrestored condition. It has been visibly repainted in areas. Interior appears original with the exception of reupholstered seats. Spare Campagnolo wheel still wears its original Dunlop SP tire. Original leather owner’s folio, instruction manual, spare parts catalogue, dealer directory and service records dating back to 1975. Lot 37. Sold for $1.94 million.

 

 

    330 GTC, S/N 11205 (1968). Dark blue. Estimate $500,000 to $650,000. In current ownership for the last 19 years. Matching-numbers engine. Successfully completed the Copperstate 1000 in 2014. Accompanied by Marcel Massini report, manual, parts catalogue, and service records. Lot 25. Sold for $517,000.

 

 

    328 GTB, VIN ZFFXA19A2K0080029 (1989). Rosso Corsa with tan leather. Estimate $150,000 to $180,000. This GTB has remained with a private enthusiast for nearly 25 years. Less than 9,200 miles. The owner states no paintwork has been performed during his ownership. Following a long period of climate-controlled storage, in 2019 was carefully recommissioned. Work included a belt service, fluid change, and installation of a new battery. Red carpets and floor mats. Accompanied by manuals in their leather folio, jack, tool roll, and spare tire. Lot 38. Not sold.

 

 

        Scottsdale Auctions - Worldwide Auctioneers - Jan. 23, 2021

    F12berlinetta, VIN ZFF74UFA5E0198979 (2014). Bianco Fuji with Iroko interior. No reserve.  Less than 6,000 miles. Clean Carfax record and up-to-date servicing. Special ordered in a rare color combination which increased the window sticker by $51,000. The window sticker shows MSRP of $407,532, which included $92,000 in options. Lot 49. Sold for $195,000.

 

 

    308 GTS QV, VIN ZFFUA13A2F0058405 (1985). Rosso corsa with tan interior. No reserve. Options include power mirrors, deep front spoiler and air-conditioning, upgraded and wider 16-inch Speedline wheels. Four known owners. Less than 47,000 miles. Complete service records. Recent hood and spoiler repaint. Major service with belt change in August 2019. Since then driven less than 350 miles. Owner’s manual, tool kit, service records, canvas car cover and original window sticker. Lot 53. Sold for $65,000.
